Why we ask for all this

Signing up asks a lot of you, we know. Here is exactly why each consent exists, why it works in your favour, and why we genuinely cannot do this without it.

Your blood holds the most honest story about your health you will ever read. To turn that story into something useful, and to do it safely, the law asks us to be precise about what we collect and why. So here it is, in plain language, no small print.

What we cannot run without

Three of the boxes are not extras. They are the test itself. They are required not because we want more from you, but because without them there is simply no product to give you.

Processing your health data. Your medical history, your biomarkers, your lifestyle: these are what let Rosa see you as a person, not a generic reference range. Italian and European law treat health data as a special category, protected more strictly than almost anything else you own. That protection is exactly why we ask so clearly.

AI analysis, with a doctor watching. Your results are read by Rosa’s analysis engine, which spots patterns across 80+ biomarkers far faster than a person scanning a page. But under Italian Law 132/2025, a number on a screen is never the final word: a physician registered with the Italian Medical Board supervises every clinical interpretation before it reaches you.

Sharing with accredited labs. Your draw happens at an accredited partner laboratory, and the sample is analysed there. That handoff only works if we can share the details that route your sample and return your results. We share the minimum needed, with labs held to the same standards we hold ourselves to.

The parts you can leave unticked

Two choices are completely up to you, and saying no changes nothing about the service you receive. Both stay off unless you switch them on, and you can change your mind whenever you like.

• Helping the next person: you can let us use your data, stripped of anything that identifies you, to make Rosa sharper for the people who come after you. It never carries your name, and it is never sold.
• Hearing from us: the occasional email with genuine health insight and product news. One click to stop at any time.

Permission is only half the promise

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored inside the European Union, and reachable only by the few people whose job genuinely requires it, every access logged. We never sell it, never hand it to advertisers or insurers, and never use it to train outside AI models. And whatever you grant today, you can take back tomorrow from your profile, no explanation needed.

We ask for exactly what it takes to read your health honestly and act on it safely, nothing more, and we guard it like it is our own.
